Service Delivery Manager Infrastructure, Datacenter, Network & Security


You strive for optimal service delivery towards our internal clients with focus on datacenter, network and security infrastructure.

  • You analyse patterns and trends based on monitoring, events and incidents
  • You coordinate the implementation of preventative measures
  • You take the lead in the resolution of major incidents and do the following up afterwards (take preventive measures, communication to all stakeholders,…)
  • Problem management: you detect potential problems and take care of the coördination of the different problems in the area
  • You take initiatives to improve the service delivery and manage improvement projects end-to-end
  • You make sure that the necessary monitoring is in place
  • You report on the operational status of the area (open incidents, closed major incidents, ongoing problems, SLA status,…)
  • You manage our external suppliers to make sure that they deliver the expected service
  • You analyse the operational processes within the area, work out improvements and implement them
  • You make sure that the right documentation is in place (designs, escalation info, …) and improve our service asset & configurations management (SACM)
  • You conduct risk and vulnerability assessments and take preventive measures

  • Expert knowledge of IT service management specifically related to service delivery management support
    • Both for workstations and for data center infrastructure (servers, storage,...)
    • Network and security infrastructure knowledge
    • Experience with cloud (mainly AWS)
  • ITIL knowledge (min. requirement ITIL Foundation certificate)
  • Knowledge and/of have a good understanding of agile / scrum
  • you are willing to learn new things, evolve and achieve preset goals
  • Experience in supplier management and managing (large) vendors in outsourced environments
  • Ability to continuously improve productivity
  • Ability to development policies, standards and procedures for the designated service line and to integrate them into the existing systems and processes
  • At least 5 years of experience in senior IT support positions, preferably in service management & operations solutions in a large-scale environment in private and public cloud
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch
  • Willing to travel occasionally
